Terms & Conditions

These terms govern use of this privately operated Colorado County records-reference service. Using the service means accepting these terms to the extent permitted by law.

Nature of the Service

This is a private information service. It is not a Colorado County agency, sheriff, jail, police department, court, or corrections department. It hosts no official records and does not control the public offices or third-party providers linked from its pages.

Permitted Use

Use the service lawfully, respectfully, and only for a legitimate personal, informational, court, or records-request purpose. Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, transmit harmful code, scrape it in a way that impairs operation, impersonate another person, or use its contents to harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm someone.

FCRA Restriction

This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its information must not be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Users are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to their use of external records, search tools, and information accessed through links.

Outside Links and Tools

Links, search boxes, advertising, agency references, and other outside tools are supplied for convenience. They are operated by independent parties and are not endorsed, controlled, or guaranteed by this service. Their terms, privacy rules, data, results, and availability are their own responsibility.

Information and Warranties

Content is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No promise is made that information is accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose. Agency procedures, court status, and third-party pages can change without notice. Verify material with the office that originated it.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the service, linked tools, or reliance on information. A user agrees to defend and indemnify the service and its operators from claims arising from that user’s misuse, violation of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

Ownership and Access

The site design, original text, and other owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No license is granted except the limited right to view the service for permitted use. Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time for a violation, security concern, legal reason, or operational need.

Changes, Texas Law, and Severability

These terms may change at any time by posting a revised version. Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
